First off we have POPTOPIA! Power Pop Classics … my attempt at recreating the great collection of Poptopia CDs that were released in the 1990s. If you love Power Pop — and if you don’t, you’re lying! — give this one a listen. Crunchy, jangly guitars, driving beats, undeniably catchy melodies… if you like the music of Cheap Trick, Big Star, Badfinger, Gin Blossoms, The Knack, The Replacements, The Smithereens, or Sweet, give this one a look-see.

Next there’s YACHT ROCK, my tribute to the beloved genre of smooth easy listening, modeled after the acclaimed Channel 101 web series of the same name. We’re talking nothing less than the very best of dentist, elevator, and mall music: Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins, Ambrosia, Firefall, Air Supply, Eddie Rabbitt… you name it, it’s in there. If it ain’t in there, let me know. Chill out on the deck of your double-master with a glass of white wine (or a pina colada), some smooth vibes on the eight-track, and ohhhh yeahhhhh….
