Holy crap. It’s Halloween. And we freakin’ did it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the sun retreats beyond the horizon, the darkness enfolds us, and the moon refuses any succor, we creatures of the night take to the darkness and… well most likely go out for a bunch of candy or hand some out at the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or prep for tomorrow. It’s a school\/work night after all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But who are we kidding? This is our night to engage in all things Halloween, so enjoy every last second of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As such, we have reached the end of this year’s list of Buttkickin Halloween Songs<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And ZOWIE what a list this was. I’m not kidding folks, with this final entry we delivered forty new songs<\/span> to our playlist. Not only that, we made sure to publish at least one new song, every day, for the month of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Often we did two-a-days. And today, on Halloween, we delivered four<\/span> songs! Damn we’re smooth!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why all the effort? Because last year I crapped out at five songs total due to some, oh, let’s just call it “lethargic lifestyle mood-traps” and leave it at that. So this year, I wanted to come back stronger than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you enjoyed our 2022 Buttkickin’ Halloween Songs. I always finish us out with a big epic closer, and they hardly come any bigger or more epic than “Weird” Al Yankovic’s 11-minute masterpiece Albuquerque<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How is this a Halloween song? Bite thy tongue, knave! Why it features no less than child abuse, eating disorders, horrific deadly plane crashes, uni-nostrilled intersexed adversaries, twisted donut shop gaslighting, mutilation by weasels, a romantic tragedy, chainsaw mutilation, and a literal going-for-the-jugular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s magnificent. Like all you readers. Enjoy your Halloween. This universe is dark and scary and awful but never forget: there’s always a little place called Albuquerque<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
