OK so here’s the thing we all know about every single stupid blogger’s, listicle author’s, or wannabe music-historian buffoon’s Halloween playlists, and never want to say out loud:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

They all suck<\/em>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Except for mine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Come on folks, how many times do you run off in search of some cool, unique, different, badass, bizarre, on mondo-beyondo spooktacular awesomeness for your Halloween musical ethos… and keep coming up with troglodytes mouth-breathing the same group of played out tunes? You know the ones: Monster<\/em> Mash<\/em>, Thriller, Ghostbusters, <\/em>anything from A Nightmare Before Christmas<\/em>, Somebody’s Watching Me<\/em>, or the goddamn Werewolves of London?<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

You won’t find any of that mishegas here. Some of my selections may seem obvious. Some might seem smugly esoteric. Others might not even seem like Halloween songs at all. But stay with me folks: this is all meant to keep Halloween music right where it needs to be: creepy and awesome.<\/p>\n
