And we’re on our way home, maybe, finally, or: “Out of my brain on the 5:15…”

So Alaska was all sorts of amazing and I can’t wait to tell you all about it. What a freakin’ adventure. That’s about as excitable as I can get right now, as I’ve been up for roughly 28 hours now and, thanks to a mechanical failure on our connecting flight from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale, we won’t get home until about, oh, let’s say 8:30 – 9:00 PM tonight, Eastern Time. Thank Jebus I’m not working tomorrow or Friday. I’ve got enough aggravation.

I will say this, though: the Mayor’s Midnight Sun Marathon? I’ll be thinking about that race for a long, LONG time. Is that a good thing or bad? Stay tuned.

. . . oh like I’m one to leave you hanging. BUTTKICKIN’ race. Loved it. More to come as soon as I collect my thoughts about it, plus details about the two days before and three days afterward. Lots of pics of cool Alaskan stuff. Jeepers. This Florida boy was absolutely gobsmacked.

Here’s a little preview for you:

That would be a Bear Selfie, yes yes...

And as usual here’s the freakin’ in-flight pic, taken just now:

And finally, of course, the goshdarned video. See you in a few days:
